Defining Minimal Clinically Important Difference of Proteinuria in Diabetic Kidney Disease Adults

Introduction: Proteinuria changes are associated with risk of major macrovascular outcomes, renal outcomes and mortality in diabetic kidney disease (DKD) patients. Proteinuria change can be a reasonable surrogate in clinical trials of DKD to assess treatment effects. However, the value of proteinuria change that required to be considered as clinical significance, which refers to minimal clinically important difference (MCID), has not been defined.

Keywords: MCID, clinical significance, proteinuria
