Long-term effects on Quality of life of a Multimodal Therapy in Breast Cancer patients with Fatigue
Introduction: Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is a burdensome symptom in breast cancer survivors (BCS), accompanied by reduced health-related quality of life (HRQL) and reduced autonomic regulation (aR). The therapy with best available evidence is aerobic training (AT), yet shows only minor standardized effect-sizes. Earlier, we showed the short- and midterm effectiveness of a 10-week multimodal therapy (MT) and combination therapy (CT) compared to AT alone, respectively. Here the researchers present four-year follow-up results.
