Meta-Analysis on the Survival of Cancer Patients Treated with a Fermented Viscum Album L.

Purpose: Plant extract preparations from European mistletoe (Viscum album L.) have been examined as supportive cancer treatment in clinical studies particularly in Western Europe for more than 50 years. The researchers aim was to update the evidence found in controlled studies addressing survival of cancer patients treated with fermented mistletoe extract Iscador.
