Mind-body interventions at the workplace: A systematic review and meta-regression analysis of RCTs

Introduction: A number of systematic reviews to date show that mindfulness-based interventions improve occupational health. These reviews typically exclude such meditation or mind-body interventions (MBIs) that build on informal or mixed techniques aiming at improving mindfulness indirectly, i.e., mindfulness-informed interventions. This comprehensive meta-analysis synthesizes the results of randomized controlled trials of MBIs, including mindfulness-informed interventions, and estimates differential effects of eight types of MBIs conducted in various workplace settings.

Keywords: Mind-body interventions, mindfulness, MBSR, meditation, workplace, occupational health, systematic review
