The introspective patient perception on mistletoe therapy and cancer: A qualitative study.

Introduction: The patient perception of mistletoe therapy (MT) and cancer represents a vast field that is widely unexplored, especially when it comes to the introspective experience affecting personal emotions, thinking and actions. Furthermore, picturing the individual perception of cancer and MT through drawing on a body scheme has not been examined before. This study aims to reveal subjective insights on how cancer can affect a person’s life on different dimensions and likewise how MT is experienced.

Keywords: Qualitative study, mistletoe, cancer, patient view, body image, interviews
