Outcome of consecutive new patients seen in the Outpatient department of the NHS Centre for Integrative Care, measured using the 'Measure yourself Medical Outcome Profile (MYMOP) as a Patient Reported Outcome Measure (PROM)

Introduction: Patients are referred by health care specialists or the voluntary sector (Third sector) with a wide range of complex co-morbidities and long term conditions. An initial Integrative Care Consultation enables a therapeutic encounter and individualised care pathway that may include different interventions within the service including homeopathic treatment, lifestyle coaching, mind-body approaches, as one-to-one or group therapies, with an emphasis on optimising and developing self-care and supporting self-management. MYMOP was included as part of holistic assessment and monitored throughout attendance at the out-patient clinic, to look at health and wellbeing outcomes, patterns of symptom presentation and severity.
