Prof Dr Claudia Traidl-Hoffman
Professor Dr. med. Claudia Traidl-Hoffmann completed her doctorate in 1997, habilitated in 2004 and at the same time received the authorisation to teach in the specialities of dermatology and venereology. She has been a specialist in these fields since 2006 and an allergist in addition since 2008. From 1999 2001, she researched the basics of contact allergy during a guest stay in Rome.
From 2003, she led the "Cellular Immunology" working group for ten years at the Centre for Allergy and Environment (ZAUM) in Munich. From 2008 to 2013, as a senior physician at the Department of Dermatology at the TU-Munich.
In November 2013, Professor Traidl-Hoffmann was appointed to the Chair of Environmental Medicine at the TU Munich, since 2021 transformed to University Augsburg. Since 2021 she serves as vice director of the center of climate resilience at UniA. In research, Professor Traidl-Hoffmann and her team work on the field of environment- human interaction with a focus on climate change and health. She authored more than 200 peer review papers, among them in Lancet, Immunity, Global change biology, H-index 52.
