Dr Martin Logue

Martin Logue is a Research Fellow within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton. Martin is a graduate of degree programmes in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Phytotherapy. He was also awarded a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2003. Martin completed an MSc in Endocrinology with the University of South Wales in 2015, and wrote his thesis on the effect of the somatotrophic axis on ageing. He has taught widely throughout the UK and Ireland. He has worked as a herbal consultant with various herbal companies including Bioforce, Switzerland and Pukka Herbs, UK. Martin's PhD looked at the role of plant medicines in the treatment of respiratory tract infections. Martin is interested in the role that medicinal plants may play in tackling anti-microbial resistance (AMR).
