Tim is a social entrepreneur. He is Chief Executive & Founder of Aesop. Launched in 2014, Aesop’s vision is a future when arts solutions for society’s problems are valued and available for all who need them. Its current focus is on health and wellbeing. Aesop runs Dance to Health, a falls prevention dance programme. This aims to be the first arts in health intervention which becomes a national service. Aesop developed the first evaluation framework for arts in health and the first survey of health sector attitudes to the arts. It runs major national arts in health conferences for health decision-makers.  
Tim’s past activities include Artistic Director & Chief Executive of the Bath International Music Festival, director of a charitable foundation and a founder of the Arts Impact Fund, Bath Literature Festival and National Numeracy. He was appointed a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government in 2005.
